I've been advocating a lot recently for solo consultants to elevate their visual game -- on LinkedIn, yes, but more broadly as well -- in your sales assets, your proposal decks, your client kickoffs. There's simply no shorter path to get your expertise internalized in your clients' head than a good visual. That's enough to get a struggling founder to get on the phone, no? IRIS's feedback agrees, and even offers some ways to elevate the visual execution: Note in both examples -- they're not overly complex, hyper-comprehensive visuals. They're not animated, gimmicky, or have a "McKinsey sheen." Rather these visual assets are just a simplified distillation of Connie's view on her clients' painful problem, and engineered for instant resonance and sparking a first contact.
