💡 Inducing the inflection point

We’ve all heard of the hockey stick graph when starting a business.

The story of that loooong stretch of slow progress, then all of the sudden, an explosion of sustained growth.

That inflection point though, where your stall turns into a soar, is elusive.

Kinda like a jack-in-the-box, you don’t know quite when it will hit.

You keep at it, though.

Trusting that it will.

But there’s temptation along the way.

The tool that will write your website.

The agent that will pack your calendar with leads.

The email templates that will flood your coffers.

Funny, we’ve long been trained to not believe in ‘get rich quick’ schemes…

But we want to believe in some of these offers.

Because we want to believe we can expedite that inflection point by writing a check.

But each we time fall for the quick “hack” we lose focus.

From the strategy and the sweat.

The trial and error.

The wins and the setbacks.

That’s the real work of building a solo business.

Day by day. Brick by brick.

So that when that hockey stick finally does curve upwards.

Due to internal or external triggers.

(Probably both.)

You’ll find you’ve long ago built the foundation to support it.
