Well, when you know, you just know…

Just a couple weeks shy of a full year of daily Lightbulbs, I’ve made the tough decision to call it quits.

I set out on a simple mission to offer my humble take on the path of the solo corporate expert...

A daily dose of clarity in the thrilling but uncertain world of indie consulting.

And although it’s been a true labor of love, the deluge of praise and positive press has proven to be just too much to bear.

​

To be frank, the fame involved with authoring a niche, micro-newsletter is not for the weary…

​

I’ve received dozens of anonymous love notes in the mail on lightbulb-shaped postcards…

On two separate occasions, I’ve found my car (in a secured garage, mind you) papier-mâchéd shut with print-outs of my most-forwarded frameworks.

And the final straw, just last night, someone installed a giant 2x2 in my front yard, a red LED heart beaming bright from the upper-right quadrant.

Touching, yes. Inspiring, certainly.

But I can’t in good conscience keep feeding the insatiable yearning for more content.

Where would it end?

So, alas, it’s time to simply say:

'Lights out.'
