I haven’t touched my CV in 3 years. That once all-important doc that vacuumed up so many hours of wording edits, formatting tweaks, and peer reviews now sits in a folder somewhere, collecting digital dust in a virtual scrapbook. While the CV is still a relevant artifact in a full-time job search (or so I hear), it still always struck me as a credential of experience. Through that lens, it makes sense that no client has ever asked me for a CV — because clients care less about experience and more about expertise. And how do you demonstrate your unique expertise? Sure, you can talk about it in sales calls. But what about when you want to show, not tell? You guessed it, you lead with your IP. 💡 -Wes |
