💡 "Drowning in doubt"

Remember Kerry? The broadcaster-turned-on-camera coach I featured last week as a best-in-class example of a tight market position?

As a reminder, she “turns video-shy lawyers into video-confident lawyers.”

I applauded her for leveraging her unique expertise to create a high-value solution to a painful problem for a very specific client profile.

Well, she chimed in and offered a glimpse of what went into that decision.

And you may be relieved to hear that she, too, toiled with doubt over niching down for months, continuing to think it was “too niche, too specific, too limiting.”

Sound familiar?

Yet, as she explains in a short video, she realized that while it wasn’t her original intent, she had already been organically circling her niche of lawyers or ‘legal-adjacent’ clients…

…and once she noticed why that was happening, citing the non-obvious similarities between her background and those in the legal profession, doubling down became a clear strategic opportunity.

Still a scary move, but one she says has been ‘game-changing.’
